The Greenwich Wine and Food Festival presented by Serendipity Magazine  that took place on September 24th was a big success with 200 hundred vendors serving food, wine, hard cider, spiked seltzer, spirits and lots of great food from restaurants in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.  It was a fantastic event filled with cooking demonstrations, cooking and drink competitions and music.

If you missed this event, here are some of the highlights from the 2016 festival.  If you are a foodie, this should be on your “to do” list for next year.

Burger Battle Winners:

Cask Republic (Stamford, Norwalk)  won the Judges Choice.

Bareburger won the People’s Choice vote.

 Top Bartender Showdown:

Eastend (Greenwich ) won the Judges Choice.

 The Ultimate Sandwich Takedown:

Judy’s Bar + Kitchen (Stamford)  won the Judges Choice.

The festival was a great time and Roger Sherman Baldwin Park which overlooks Greenwich Harbor is a wonderful venue for this event. We hope to see you there next year !
